Robin Foust, an award-winning health scientist and architect, has developed successful health management programs through implementation and evaluation of internal solutions and/or placement of appropriate vendor(s) following evaluation and selection.

National recognition includes a C. Everett Koop Award for maternity management, a C. Everett Koop Award for disease management, a leadership award for her work in wellness, and a leadership award in the field of health and human performance.  She is also well-known for her work in program evaluation, women’s health, pediatrics, and her pioneering work related to healthcare based pay for outcomes (P4O).

Through implementation of programs selected utilizing Robin’s expertise, her clients have documented optimal healthcare and financial outcomes in the areas of health and human performance, disability, disease/condition management, and maternal and child health. Most recently, Robin’s work combining meaningful policy revision with obesity and weight management programs has garnered a great deal of attention for outcomes.  In addition to national recognition for successful healthcare outcomes, Robin is a published author, a thought leader in healthcare; and a well-known, highly rated speaker on various healthcare topics.  Known for her creative problem solving, Foust developed and leverages an application called MyCatalyst that is changing how healthcare management is coordinated and evaluated; serving as the independent auditor of health and productivity management programs to ensure optimal outcomes.

Robin works with health plans, disease and health management organizations, employers, Medicare, and Medicaid populations; to both manage the health and human performance (productivity) of their covered populations and to seek solutions to rising healthcare costs.  Her work includes the design of promising reward healthcare, or pay for outcomes reimbursement models that are considered a viable solution to our nation’s healthcare dilemma.  Clients typically receive results that exceed return on investment (ROI) and return on outcomes (ROO) expectations.

With a background in behavior change and health education, Robin is a respected faculty member of the Institute for HealthCare Communication.  The Institute trains clinicians to use communication techniques or integration of these techniques into systems of care in order to facilitate desired behavior change for optimal outcomes in patient satisfaction, and health status.
