Melinda M. Grady, CPA, is a tax senior manager in the Houston office of Deloitte Tax LLP, where she is part of the Private Client Advisors Group in the Mid-America region. Ms. Grady has more than 11 years of big four tax expertise and more than 6 years experience focusing on not-for-profit health care organizations, universities, private foundations, governmental and other tax-exempt clients. Her work with exempt organizations has included unrelated business income studies, alternative investments analyses, executive compensation reporting issues, and public support and exempt status reviews, as well as federal, state and international compliance. 

Ms. Grady also serves as a tax-exempt internal resource on FASB Interpretation No. 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes. Her speaking experience includes leading discussions on unrelated business income and alternative investments at both internal and external events. Ms. Grady earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University, and is a member of the AICPA and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
