Gina Kastel is a partner in the Health Care and Nonprofit Organizations practice of Faegre & Benson LLP, Minneapolis. Gina has a broad range of health law experience including health care regulatory compliance and reimbursement. She advises hospitals, physician practices, skilled nursing facilities and medical device manufacturers regarding health information privacy issues, including compliance with HIPAA's privacy and security regulations and state health records laws.
She also counsels these clients on a wide range of other regulatory matters, including billing and reimbursement issues, compliance with anti-fraud and abuse laws, and licensure and accreditation. She was graduated from Harvard Law School with a J.D., magna cum laude, Trinity College, Dublin, and holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
