Scott Aebischer currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Customer Service and Product Innovation. He is responsible for serving more than 1 million members through several service centers comprised of over 200 staff. In addition to Member Services, CareLineSM nursing services and Nurse NavigatorsSM , he is also responsible for the organization’s product development, marketing/sales systems, market research and strategic information, and overall web development at HealthPartners.

Since 1997 Mr. Aebischer has also led HealthPartners United States Agency for International Development funded programs including Cooperative Development and Child Survival Health Grant programs to develop a prepaid health care system and to improve maternal and child morbidity and mortality in Uganda, Africa.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Aebischer was Vice President of Network Management for HealthPartners. He was responsible for medical group contract negotiations, provider relations, network development for HealthPartners and electronic commerce as it relates to the provider community.

Before joining HealthPartners in 1991, Mr. Aebischer worked as the manager of provider relations at PreferredOne, a Minnesota-based PPO, for seven years. Before entering into the managed care profession, he was the director of social services with the Fairview Hospitals.

Mr. Aebischer holds a master's in public health administration and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota.
