Roger is founder and president
of DSS Research Fort Worth, Texas, a full-service firm specializing in
the broad health care space with approximately 300 employees. The
official company name is Decision Support Systems, Inc., and provides
full-service marketing research services in a number of industries,
including: healthcare, telecommunications, electric utility, high-tech
and travel.
While teaching at the University of Texas,
he was a founding partner of TFR Marketing Research, which
provided full-service marketing research services in a number of
industries.
He now serves as director of Worthington National Bank, Fort Worth, and an
Advisory Board Member, Master of Science in Marketing Research at
University of Texas at Arlington.
Roger has
taught and been involved University of Texas at Arlington as :
Professor of Marketing, Associate Professor Assistant Professor, Full
member of the Graduate Faculty, and Co-founder of Master of
Science in Marketing Research Program. He was also an Instructor,
Department of Marketing at the University of Florida.
He served has on the editorial board for Applied Marketing
Research, an editor and member of the editorial board for Journal
of Data Collection, and a reviewer for Journal of
Advertising.
Roger has published and co-authored numerous books, professional
presentations and articles including "Marketing Research Essentials,"
"Contemporary Marketing Research," “Assessment of the Demand for
Healthcare System Membership Plan,"” Understanding Marketing: An
Integrated Approach, Views of Marketing Research,”and
“Marketing Information Systems and Marketing Research"
He is also involved with many professional organizations including:
American Marketing Association, Academy for Health Services Marketing,
Publications Committee, Academy for Health Services Marketing, and
Southwest Society for Healthcare Marketing.
