Among his many works, Michael publishes a monthly sales and marketing column for CARING magazine, and his articles are featured in many other trade publications. He is also a featured speaker at national and state association meetings and conferences.

His home care career began in 1995 as an entrepreneur seeking to participate in the transition of Medicare home care to a prospective payment system. He built an independent freestanding agency from zero to the seventh largest in the Houston Metropolitan Area in less than five years. His agency was founded on the belief that a keen focus on quality and customer service would provide the basis for success. Prior professional experience includes investment banking and several startups. He has served on the PPS Task Force for the National Association for Home Care, chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Texas Association for Home Care and founding board member and president for the Gulf Coast Home Care Council. Mike also founded the Kiwanis Club of the Texas Medical Center and served as its charter president.
