Sherri Friend is the Program Director for Center Based Services for Interfaith Community Care and the President of the Arizona Association for Adult Day Centers. Sherri has a degree from Grand Canyon University in Recreation and is currently working on her Masters in Geriatric Health Administration with A.T. Still University. Currently, Sherri is a member of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Education Committee as well as a member of the Governor’s Council on Aging Mature Workers Committee. She also speaks at conferences across the state speaking to empower staff and caregivers in aging services.

Her journey began working in Adult Day Services while working in England at a day program for individuals with developmental disabilities. Upon returning to the states, she began working for Interfaith as the Supervisor of the Friendship Center and then at Mary’s Place a dementia specific adult day program. Sherri was also the Site Supervisor of the Tempe Adult Day Center with the Foundation for Senior Living.
