Steven F. Banghart concentrates his practice primarily in the area of corporate representation of health care providers and in the development and implementation of integrated health care delivery systems. Mr. Banghart has represented:
Mr. Banghart received his
bachelors degree from Michigan State University in 1974, a masters of
health services administration degree from the University of Michigan
in 1976, and earned his law degree, with honors, at the Thomas M.
Cooley Law School in 1983. An active member of the American, Illinois
State and Chicago Bar Associations, as well as the Illinois Association
of Hospital attorneys and the American Health Lawyers Association, Mr.
Banghart has lectured frequently on topics concerning managed care
relationships and health care regulatory matters including HIPAA, Fraud
and Abuse and the Stark law. Mr. Banghart is a former Chairman of the
Illinois State Bar Association Health Care Section Council, which is
comprised of noted health care attorneys from throughout the state, and
he has been selected by the American Medical Association to be a
participant in the AMA’s Solutions Consulting Link. Mr.
Banghart is recognized as a 2007 Illinois Super Lawyer.
