Karen Moore began working in healthcare 16 years ago and has been at Shore Health System for 10 years. She started with Shore Health as the Access Manager, and then became the Accounts Receivable Manager.  For the last 6 years, Karen has been the Manager, Patient Accounts responsible for billing, follow-up and collections, customer service and cash posting. Karen is the Leader of the "Denials Prevention Workgroup" at Shore Health. She is a member of AAHAM, HFMA, and is active on the MHA Payer Issues Task Force.

Karen has spoken at Maryland AAHAM Conferences, MUSE International Conferences, and WRG Denial Summits on Denials and Revenue Cycle Issues.
