Dave Sharar
Managing Director Chestnut Global Partners Dave Sharar has been in the EAP field for over 18 years and is Managing Director for Chestnut Global Partners, the EAP/Workplace Services wholly owned subsidiary of Chestnut Health Systems. In his capacity as Research Associate and Program Evaluator at Chestnut's Research Institute, he has published over 25 articles and studies related to employee assistance practice, managed behavioral health, work-life, and integrated delivery systems. Dave is a regular presenter at professional conferences and has spent a good deal of time researching business ethics in EAP and the impact of pricing on quality and decision-making. He holds masters degrees in Counseling and Community/Public Health and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. His dissertation is examining if and how EAP Affiliates (subcontractors) adhere to EAP concepts and the degree to which EAPs duplicate or overlap with mental health benefits. |
