ePrescribe Florida
ePrescribe Florida is striving to increase patient safety and meet the needs of the Florida public by establishing a collaborative framework that helps achieve an understanding of the benefits of electronic prescribing, while fostering education and implementation efforts to accelerate physician adoption and cooperation among prescribing constituents. Broad health plan and professional association support makes the Florida program unique, and it could become a potential model for other states. The ePrescribe Florida steering committee includes BCBC of Florida, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, and AvMed. |
