Attorney Pepe graduated with a B.A. from Hamilton College in 1977 and with a J.D. from the University of Bridgeport School of Law in 1982. Mr. Pepe was in private practice from 1984 to 1991. In 1992 he and two partners formed Neubert, Pepe & Monteith. Mr. Pepe has practiced in the greater New Haven area since 1990 in the areas of health care law and general business law. 

Mr. Pepe has been an advisor to state medical and dental societies, including the Connecticut State Medical Society, and The Connecticut State Dental Association, and has consulted with most of the state medical societies involved in the national class action litigation against managed care companies. 

Mr. Pepe also provides regular legal advice regarding physician practice management issues to physician groups and hospitals involved in all forms of regulatory and business matters facing providers today.

Mr. Pepe is a co-founder and the former President of the Board of Directors of Leeway, Inc., a not-for-profit inpatient primary care facility for people living with AIDS, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee for the Quinnipiac University School of Law and Adjunct Professor of Health Care Law at Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is a frequent commentator and panelist on provider issues in the context of managed care.
