Christine L. Jones Contract Services Manager Wichita Clinic, PA

Christine Jones is the Contract Services Manager for Wichita Clinic, PA, the largest multi-specialty medical group practice in Kansas.  She serves as the primary contract negotiator for all payers, manages contract negotiation initiatives, monitors contractual performance, initiates re-negotiations, directs analysis and audit of managed care risk contracts, provides direction and oversight for fee schedule development and maintenance functions, and oversees provider credentialing activities.

Prior to serving as Contract Services Manager for Wichita Clinic, PA, Christine served five years as the Director of Contract and Provider Services for Preferred Health Systems and was responsible for all aspects of provider network development for both an HMO and PPO insurance product, directed the provider relations staff and maintained direct responsibility for provider contract and fee schedule negotiations and provider issue resolution.

Christine also served more than ten years as Executive Director for Via Christi Medical Management.  During her tenure as Executive Director she analyzed and negotiated all managed care contracts, directed provider credentialing and hospital privileging processes, developed and directed a physician-hospital organization, a managed behavioral health network and a regional occupational health network.

Christine recently published an article on managed care contract negotiation for Family Practice Management in November/December 2006.

Christine has a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration from Wichita State University.
