Beth Cameron Feldpush, MPH Beth Cameron Feldpush, MPH is the Senior Associate Director for Policy at the American Hospital Association (AHA) where she works on hospital quality and patient safety issues. In this role, she works with the Hospital Quality Alliance (HQA), a public-private effort to provide information to consumers on the quality of care in America’s hospitals, and she holds a position on the HQA measure selection workgroup. Beth also supports AHA’s relationships with The Joint Commission, the National Quality Forum, and other quality and patient safety policy organizations. She analyzes legislative and regulatory initiatives for their impacts on quality and patient safety and hospitals’ ability to successfully implement policy changes. Prior to joining the AHA, Beth was a Senior Analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) where her work focused on Medicare payment policy, end-of-life care, geographic variation in service delivery, and health care workforce adequacy. She also served as adjunct faculty for GAO’s Center for Learning and as a quality reviewer for GAO’s Health Care team. Beth is a graduate of the University of Richmond and Johns Hopkins University, and she is currently a doctoral candidate at George Washington University, where she co-instructs a course on health insurance reform. |
