Robert K. Jenkins is the publisher, founder and editorial director of WellnessJunction.com, and Wellness Program Management Advisor. He researches, analyzes and reports on issues and trends in workplace wellness management. He is moderator the Wellness Manager Professional Discussion Group, and hosts professional seminars and forums on workplace wellness and health promotion.

Mr. Jenkins has worked in or written about healthcare more than 30 years. He served as a member of the management team at Monmouth Medical Center, a major teaching hospital in Long Branch, N.J., and has devoted his time over the past 20 years to researching, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on health, wellness and managed care business news and management information.

He also served more than 10 years as a member of the board of trustees of The Medical Center of Ocean County, NJ, and, served five years as board chairman. He was a long time member of the medical center's finance and strategic planning committees. Following the merger of three central New Jersey hospital systems into the Meridian Health System, a major regional integrated healthcare delivery system and the largest employer in Monmouth County, he served as treasurer, and was a member of the executive and finance committees, and chairman of the strategic planning committee.
