Clinical integration is the wave of the future for physician organizations to avoid trouble with the Federal Trade Commission, according to the overwhelming majority of physician organization executives surveyed by the Managed Care Information Center.

As a result, there will be a resurgence of IPAs and PHOs thanks to favorable FTC opinions about clinical integration.
